Sagapo Children’s Foundation is supporting the newly created School of Fine Arts at TEPAK ( Cyprus University of Technology ) in Limassol, by offering an award of Euros 1000 to the best graduate student of the year.
Art acts as a collective memory of society. Through expressive outlets such as paintings, sculptures, music, literature, and other art forms, artists preserve life as we know it even better than historical fact-based records. Art gives us meaning and helps us understand our world.
Scientific studies have proven that art appreciation improves our quality of life and makes us feel good. When we create art, we elevate our mood, we strengthen our ability to problem solve and open our minds to new ideas. Sagapo aims to support art education in Cyprus and in the world.
